A CREATIVE CLIMATE PROGRAMME FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats
For young people who care about the environment, this week-long summer programme offered a creative and fun way of exploring some of the challenges our communities face as sea levels rise in Dublin, Cork and Clare. Art is a powerful tool in communicating how we feel about the climate crisis, and to conjure a future we would like and feel hopeful about. Learning creative techniques like filmmaking, songwriting or visual art, going on field trips with experts working on flood responses across the county and collaborating on an art project that was presented as part of Dublin Fringe Festival September 2022.
This programme ran in partnership with Axis Ballymun (Dublin), The Everyman Theatre (Cork) and GlΓ³r Arts Centre (Clare) with support from The Arts Councilβs YPCE Fund.
